Rob Dent was Runs Captain during the season even though he had a driving license full of points. On the run to Bristol the club was followed by a police patrol car. Eventually they were stopped and the officer said, "I just wanted to say how well you were all riding." - Rob had to empty the adrenelin out of his boots. |

On the return from this run we stopped off at the Flying Horse. The only others there were a minibus full of football supporters being loud and agressive and much the worse for drink. They left quite soon after we entered and the publican admitted he was very relieved when we arrived! |
