Cat Rally

Organised by The Road Riders MCC at Oulton Park Race Circuit.

It was strange to be at the circuit with no racing going on.

I had been down to the Chase Rally on the Friday, but had arranged to meet up with the lads from the Potteries Phoenix up at the Cat.

I seem to remember that camping was around the paddock area and we had the use of a clubhouse also in the paddock. It was strange to be at the circuit with no racing going on and despite there being plenty of people at the rally it still seemed a bit empty.

The beer was all canned stuff and it turned into a contest to see who could build the biggest pile of tins before someone managed to throw something and knock them all down!
