Founders Day
27 July 2003
Founders Day is the traditional meeting where all the old crinklies congregate to warm their balding pates and dribble on about the depth of nitriding on BSA cam followers. I know because I followed that cam.
Wouldn't you guess that at a gathering of grizzly old bikers someone would build an illicit still on wheels.
Having sold all of Ken's motorcycle kit to Phil Freestone, Margaret Wells was hoping that he would disappear before her old man got back.
The group standing in for the coconut shy included Mick Ayriss, Peter Juby, Helen Ayriss and Benny Caravelli.
With a hat like that the FR are welcome to Dave Cockerton.
When Pete and Chris Vines realised how cheap the food was they regretted not bringing a tipper truck.
Richard Taylor negotiated for a sherrif badge to complete his cowboy outfit.
Proving to the kids that they have not just invented motorised scooters.
Just a few past members gathered at the Red Lion, Sibbertoft for an evening meal. Andrew Ayriss had been sent to the bar when this snap was taken.
