Esteve "Tito" Rabat Bergada born 25 May 1989 in Barcelona, Spain, is a Spanish motorcycle racer who currently competes in MotoGP. He started racing professionally in 2005, and made his Grand Prix début at that season's Valencian Grand Prix. He is best known for winning the 2014 Moto2 World Championship with a record points total. First on the podium on the world stage in 2007 and taking two more in 2010

Moto2 World Championship 2011–15

Tito Rabat took his first Moto2 podium in 2012, riding a Pons 40 HP Tuenti Kalex. He scored 117 points and finished seventh in the Championship.

2013 Season

Rabat's breakthrough year came during the 2013 season. After finishing ninth in the season opening Qatar Grand Prix, Rabat recorded a second place finish at the Grand Prix of the Americas; after five previous third places, it was Rabat's best result in Grand Prix racing at the time. The following race, Rabat achieved his first pole in the Jerez, Spain. In the race, Rabat led from start to finish, winning by over four seconds from Scott Redding. He added victories later in the season, at the Indianapolis and Malaysian Grand Prixs. He took seven podiums scoring 216 points coming third in the Championship.

2014 Season

For the 2014 Moto2 season Rabat joined the Marc VDS Racing team, and won at Qatar beating Mika Kallio. Over the course of the season he would take a further six wins and seven podiums, only missing the podium in 4 races for a total of 346 points. After finishing third at the Malaysian Grand Prix, he was crowned World Champion, the first for the Marc VDS team, ahead of Kallio.

2015 Season

Looking to defend the Moto2 title, but injuries made him unable to do so, Rabat did not win a race until Mugello in May. He took wins in Aragon and Valencia, from pole. In the Championship he scored 231 points and finished third behind Johann Zarco and Álex Rins.

2016 Season

Rabat had a tough rookie year but scored points regularly. He took his first top ten finish in Argentina with ninth place. He scored 29 points and finished 21st in the Championship.

2017 Season

A slight improvement but Rabat struggled, his best finish was tenth, in the last round, Valencia, Spain. With two eleventh places. He managed to get 35 points finishing 19th in the Championship.

For the 2018 MotoGP season, he moved to the Reale Avintia Racing Team and switches from Honda to Ducati machinery.
