Miles from Nowhere Rally

The 11th rally was held in September 2002 just outside Wrexham.

We only did the Saturday night because we had just come back from Anglesey Bike Show and were a bit short on the pennies. It was in a field full of cowpats. What is it with bike rallys and cowpats?

The pub was a mile down the road, the Nags Head, so we spent the afternoon down the pub and the evening on the campsite in the beer tent.

Plenty of food vans and cheap beer. On Sunday morning Mick's brother Terry Mansell decided to race us home. Did he really think his BMW could beat our ZZR? We got back to the Wrekin pub in Wellington a good hour before him!
