Gert Bustards Rally

13 November 1981 Moonrakers MCC

This was the first time I had ventured down Devizes way. The pub was easy enough to find, being on a decent road, just before a bridge.

The Moonrakers control was set up in one of the pub out-buildings/sheds and we were allowed in the back room of the pub itself (if not the main bars). I don't think we bothered much with the marquee on Friday night.

On Saturday, the games were well attended, as was the disco in the marquee for the evening and night. Nothing untoward or exciting happened, but this rally was more fun to be at than the Gunpowder I was at the week before, perhaps because some members of my club were there and other people I knew.
