Post Statistics
The first message came into the website in August 2001 when Tim Wicks heard about the site from current Leicester Phoenix Motorcycle Club chairman Peter Juby at the Big End Rally.
After a slow beginning the messages built up through 2002 and peaked in April 2003 with 28 messages.
Since then post to the website has declined but hopefully this is due to past members contacting each other directly.
To date there are messages for you to search through.
The messages are put onto the website by hand, usually with some flippant response. Doing it this way removes the risk of scurrilous or malicious postings. There are never so many messages coming in that I cannot cope - ah, if only!
Doing it by hand also allows postings of messages that arrive by methods other than the internet.
- Email is an easy way and an email link makes it even easier.
- Comment Form for anyone using a public internet access or if there are reasons to stay anonymous. There are lots of different forms for sending information but the Comment Form is always available by right clicking anywhere.
- Messenger is a free internet method of typing to each other live. My MSN email address is

- Skype has all the benfits of telephones but costs nothing. There is a Skype icon on the left of every page.

- Post is useful if you want to send material on a disc or for me to scan and return.2 Pells Close

- Reunions are a handy place to pass a message or loan valuable material. Get me to write it down because I will have forgotten when I sober up!
Not all messages to the website are put into the post pages.
- Foz Jr, Eric Tindall, MaLu, Rob Winnett and many others regularly send jokes that go into the Foz Spot on the News Update each week.
- Comments that come in with a Star Rating or about a specific page are quoted on the relevant page.
- Messages sent to a friend via the website are kept private, although I may be tempted to note if someone new has surfaced.
- If you say something is not for publication it stays off.
The Post Page is a useful part of the website because it is a very efficient way of exchanging greetings and information between old friends. Write in once and folk you thought you had forgotten will enjoy seeing that you are alive and well and sparky as ever!
