Editorial

At last the new style Megaphone appears and, with a bit of luck, the next issue will even have a proper cover. This issue also contains the last Bogri article as Ben has run out of material although he tells me he may create a new character to vent his frustrations through.

New articles are always needed for the Megaphone and I would like to start a series of club bike impressions if a few of you affluent new bike owners would provide a short or long road test of your bike. I've noticed a new 1000 BMW, a couple of shifty Yams and a GS750 in the car park to name but a few.

£4.25 for ...
... a four course meal.

Christmas will soon be here and we will be having our annual dinner and prize giving (There will be no New Years Dance this year) on December 1st at the Riverside Restaurant in Mountsorrel and Ian Bower will be selling the tickets throughout the next few weeks, price £4.25 for which you get a four course meal.

If last years winners would return their trophies to the chairman, Les Freestone, it would be greatly appreciated.

Forthcoming events also include an auction (bring and buy type) on November 16th. As we haven't held an auction since last year there should be plenty of useful bits around to sell.

Thanks to Pete, Chris, Ben and Sheila for their assistance in this issue.
