Club Runs: Club Runs were scheduled for Sundays throughout the year. They always started from Lee Circle in the centre of Leicester.

1978 Season: Other years were less well documented but no less enjoyable

Blackpool: The clubs first runs to Blackpool were to the Motorcycle Show

Bristol & Avon: The return of the SS Great Britain from the Falklands and its renovation struck a chord with the club

Cologne: As well as enjoying the motorcycle show we also took a ride along the Mosel valley and visited Traben-Trabach

Devon: Scrumpy cider caught a couple of the lads out

East Coast: Generally we avoided seaside towns after the Mods and Rockers period

Glen Trool: An obligatory trek round Loch Trool to work up a thirst and then a long ride to the nearest hotel to quench it

Lake District: We sheltered from the rain in the Sun (pub) opposite the campsite

London: Earls Court was the venue for the biggest show each year

MAG Runs: Club members have always seen the wisdom of wearing helmets but deplore the need to make helmets compulsory

National Rally: One run which took members all over the country on roads which were not radial from Leicester

Northumberland: Seahouses, Lindisfarne and Bamburgh

Peak District: Matlock Bath has always been a popular destination for motorcyclists

Race Meetings: Motorcycle race meetings at Mallory Park, Cadwell Park, Brands Hatch and so on
